Hot off the Press!
It took a while, but the Atlas of African Protected Areas is now available for on-line consultation on the Africa Knowledge Platform. A massive effort by the JRC team, in coordination with the African Regional Centers of Excellence and with IUCN, bringing together the experience of the BIOPAMA programme and the wider EU support to conservation in Africa.
This unique map-based document consolidates 13 years of data and insights from BIOPAMA, brings key elements for reflection and future priority action in Africa for biodiversity conservation.
