The Zambezi Watercourse Commission (ZAMCOM) is a water management organization established by member states of the Southern African Development Community (SADC).

Southern African Development Community - Nuclear Regulators Network
The SADC Nuclear Regulators Network supports a regional approach to aligning regulatory frameworks for sustainable uranium mining and milling and associated transport in the concerned countries and within this sub-Saharan African region. This improves safety and security of the transport of uranium ore concentrate in and between countries; the harmonized system of accounting, control, and transport of nuclear and radioactive material; as well as the necessary nuclear material accountancy and control communication between the originating, transit and destination countries.
Southern African Development Community Groundwater Management Institute (SADC-GMI)
SADC‐GMI promotes the sustainable conjunctive surface and groundwater management and provides solutions to groundwater challenges in the Southern Africa Development Community region.
Regional Centre for Mapping of Resources for Development (RCMRD)
The Regional Centre for Mapping of Resources for Development (RCMRD) was established in Nairobi – Kenya in 1975 under the auspices of the United Nations Economic Commission for Africa (UNECA) and the then Organization of African Unity (OAU), today African Union (AU).
Organization for the Development of the Senegal River (OMVS)
The Organization for the Development of the Senegal River (OMVS) is the regional cooperative management body grouping Guinea, Mali, Mauritania and Senegal for the purpose of jointly managing the Senegal River and its drainage basin.
Nile Basin Initiative (NBI
The Nile Basin Initiative (NBI) is a regional intergovernmental partnership of 10 countries that seeks to develop the River Nile in a cooperative manner, share substantial socio-economic benefits and promote regional peace and security. The secretariat is based in Uganda.
Niger Basin Authority (NBA)
The NBA implements projects and programs for the benefit of the 130 million people living in the Niger Basin. It aims to promote cooperation between the Member States and to ensure the integrated development of the Niger Basin in all fields of energy, hydraulics, agriculture, livestock farming, fishing and fish farming, forestry and forestry, transport and communications, and industry.
