International Atomic Energy Agency - Forum of Nuclear Regulatory Bodies in Africa (IAEA-FNRBA)

The Forum of Nuclear Regulatory Bodies in Africa (FNRBA) was established in 2009 to enhance, strengthen, and harmonize radiation and nuclear safety and security regulatory infrastructure in member states, and serve as effective platform for the exchange of regulatory experiences and practices among the nuclear regulatory bodies in Africa. The purpose of FNRBA is to be instrumental to the enhancement, strengthening and harmonization of the radiation protection, nuclear safety and security regulatory infrastructure and framework among its members.

Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS - CEDEAO)

The Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS; also known as CEDEAO in French) is a regional political and economic union of fifteen countries located in West Africa. Considered one of the pillars of the African Economic Community, ECOWAS was set up to foster the ideal of collective self-sufficiency for its member states. As a trading union, it is also meant to create a single, large trading bloc through economic cooperation. ECOWAS is made up of Institutions and Specialised Agencies.

African Ministers' Council on Water (AMCOW) - Executive Secretariat

The African Ministers' Council on Water (AMCOW) aims to promote cooperation, security, social, economic development and poverty eradication among member states through the effective management of the continent’s water resources and provision of water supply services. AMCOW develop and follow up an implementation strategy to accelerate the achievement of water and sanitation goals in Africa. It has also being accorded the status of a Specialised Committee for Water and Sanitation in the African Union.

African Commission on Nuclear Energy

African Commission on Nuclear Energy aims to promote nuclear disarmament, prevent nuclear proliferation, and coordinate and develop safe and secure nuclear science and technology programs. The commission is responsible for collating national reports, arrange consultations, review peaceful nuclear activities, handle complaints, and encourage regional and international cooperation
