West and Central African Council for Agricultural Research and Development (CORAF)

The West and Central African Council for Agricultural Research and Development (CORAF) is a sub-regional organization made up of the national agricultural research systems of 23 countries in West and Central Africa..It was established in 1987, with a mandate to coordinate and facilitate innovative and cutting-edge research products needed to unlock the agricultural potential of West and Central Africa.

Centre for Coordination of Agricultural Research and Development for Southern Africa (CCARDESA)

The Centre for Coordination of Agricultural Research and Development for Southern Africa (CCARDESA) was founded by SADC member states to harmonise the implementation of agricultural research and development (R&D) in the SADC region. CCARDESA intends to address agricultural research and design issues in the SADC region through the following interventions:

The organisation maintains strong partnerships with EU universities, research centres, and educational institutions, fostering collaboration on select projects they manage.
