OVERVIEW
The West Africa Workshop of the ArcX Programme will take place in Lomé, Togo, from 22 to 24 June 2026. It will explore the interactions between urban and rural environments and ecosystem sustainability in West Africa, with a focus on intra-region collaboration, multisector and multistakeholder co-creation and action grounded in the regional specific content and priorities.
The workshop will examine how integrated assessment models can support more regional planning and ecosystem management. It will also promote capacity-building across the thematic components supporting partners including CSE, CORAF, UCAD, Mercator Ocean International and encourage youth organisations and innovation engagement through data-sharing regional cooperation.
