Welcome to the ArcX Programme Regional Workshops

OVERVIEW - ABOUT THE WORKSHOPS

The ArcX Programme is entering a new phase of regional engagement following commitments made at the ArcX Forum held in September 2025 in Nairobi. Building on this momentum, the programme’s Technical Assistance Team is coordinating a series of regional workshops across West, Southern and East Africa throughout 2026.

These workshops are designed to strengthen collaboration between key stakeholders working on environmental and development challenges across the continent. By fostering inclusive dialogue and joint problem-solving, the Programme aims to support the co-creation of practical and scalable solutions that respond to both regional and global priorities.

The regional workshops will also provide an opportunity to reflect on the transformative change the ArcX Programme is driving and to explore how it approaches, partnerships and outcomes can support achievable and lasting impact across african sectors and regions.

Each workshop will bring together a diverse range of participants, including research institutions, policy makers, regional organisations, the private sector, youth networks, and development partners. The sessions will follow a participatory format combining plenary discussions, thematic group work, and structured co-creation activities.

Over the course of three days, participants will develop a shared understanding of cross-sectoral challenges and opportunities. This collaborative approach will help generate actionable outcomes, including policy recommendations, innovative approaches, and investment priorities that go beyond traditional sector boundaries.

More information is available below.

Participation in this programme is by invitation only and is limited to individuals who have received a formal invitation from the organisers.
